Last week Jolt’s Global Sales Director, Wayne Thornhill, presented our Sparkfuze technology for electrode production to the Electrolysis North America conference in Toronto.
The event was well attended and variety of subjects were discussed via presentations, working groups and discussions.
In addition to speaking at the event, Jolt was also a sponsor.
The North American conference is followed by the Berlin Electrolyser conference in November which Jolt will also attend, sponsor and speak at.
As part of London Platinum Week 2024, Jolt’s Sustainability & Quality Manager María Eugenia Paravizzini Perez took part in the Women in Platinum Group Metals (WiPGM) event on Monday 13th May.
As a rapidly growing electrode manufacturing company Jolt – Activated Electrodes for Electrolysis will be a major user of PGM’s in the years ahead offering solutions to reduce the need for these precious commodities and ensure availability for all applications.
During the panel session the sustainability and environmental impacts of PGM use were discussed.
Jolt is currently forming stategic partnerships within the PGM supply chain through both investment and strategic projects.
Last week’Jolt Solutions exhibited at the H+FC EU expo within Hannover Messe. It was a great event for Jolt. We had some really interesting conversations with new & existing contacts. We look forward to seeing you future events through 2024.
Energy Tech Challengers is an annual event that brings together innovative companies working on solutions to decarbonize the planet and connects them with leading venture capitalists, corporations, and media voices.
In 2024 Energy Tech Challengers invited companies to apply if they are working on technology solutions in the areas of green energy infrastructure, battery value chain, green molecules, or climate fintech.
The focus was on the most pressing net zero challenges and recognizing innovators with scalable and equitable solutions that have the potential to reach gigaton impact.
Over 450 companies entered the event after being nominated by VC’s, from these 50 finalists were selected and invited to present their technology at the event in Bilbao. The companies were judged by a panel of 20+ VC’s.

Of the 5 catergory winners, Jolt Solutions was selected as the overall winner taking home the trophy.
Jolt’s electrodes for alkaline water electrolysis (AWE) and AEM electrolysis, and the uniquely scalable production technique were viewed by the judges to have the most potential impact for decarbonisation.
