Scaling 2.7 × 1.8 m AWE electrodes

Modern AWE electrolysers use large-format electrodes — 2.7 × 1.8 m is the emerging standard. But going from making one prototype a month to making hundreds requires rethinking the whole production process.

2025 milestones

• Monthly capacity: 350 units on the current line (vs. 30 in 2024).
• Yield: 96% — thanks to automated optical inspection.
• Cycle time: cut by 45% between Q1 and Q4.

For 2026

We are integrating the new continuous (roll-to-roll) SPARKFUZE™ line that will multiply capacity 4× without increasing footprint. The investment is co-financed by IPCEI Hy2Tech. First operational unit expected May 2026.
