Meet Jolt's R&D team: from lab to product
The technical core of Jolt Solutions brings together 16 people at its R&D centre in Catalonia. It is a young team but with deep experience: three doctorates in electrochemistry, two in materials science and one postdoc in CFD simulation.
Organisation
- Catalysts team (5): formulation and testing of new chemistries.
- SPARKFUZE™ process team (4): equipment engineering and scale-up.
- Characterisation team (3): electron microscopy, XRD, electrochemical impedance.
- Validation team (4): test benches, accelerated protocols, post-mortem analysis.
Working culture
Every product goes through the four stages with a nominated lead. Weekly cross-team meetings and an internal ticketing system ensure knowledge doesn't stay siloed.
