McPhy Energy adopts SPARKFUZE™ on its pilot line

McPhy Energy has integrated our SPARKFUZE™ coating process on its industrial pilot line. The agreement covers manufacturing large-format AWE electrodes for validation of its Augmented McLyzer range.

Why SPARKFUZE™

Conventional thermal coating processes require ovens at 400 °C for several hours. SPARKFUZE™ performs the same deposition in under 60 seconds at 180 °C, drastically reducing the electrode manufacturer's energy consumption and enabling continuous roll-to-roll integration.

Impact for McPhy

• Line throughput: 30× higher.
• Process energy consumption: -90% (vs. conventional oven).
• Quality: uniformity above 95% on 2.7 × 1.8 m plates.
