Durability: our electrodes exceed 30,000 hours

For an industrial electrolyser, electrode durability is measured in years, not hours. The industry target is 80,000 hours (~9 years) of operation with less than 10% degradation.

Jolt validation

Our PGM-free cathodes have exceeded 30,000 hours of accelerated operation on the test bench, with less than 4% efficiency loss. The methodology follows the IEC TS 62282-8-101 protocol and includes:

• Startup/shutdown cycles simulating renewable operation.
• Thermal shocks between 20 °C and 90 °C.
• Current density swings between 0.2 and 0.8 A/cm².

Results have been verified on a 500 kW industrial stack operating with real PV curves at a customer site.
