Clean rooms for high-precision coatings

When you talk about electrodes it seems like the relevant engineering is in the catalyst. The reality is that the manufacturing environment is equally critical: a 10 µm particle landing during coating creates a failure point that will cut the electrode life by thousands of hours.

Our facilities

The Jolt Solutions plant has two ISO 7 clean rooms (10,000 particles/m³ > 0.5 µm) dedicated to:

• Catalytic precursor preparation.
• SPARKFUZE™ application.
• Inspection and packaging of the finished electrode.

Procedures

Restricted access with airlocks, decontaminated personal equipment, continuous particle monitoring and HEPA filters replaced every 6 months. The cleanroom level can step up to ISO 6 for special runs under contract.
